Otalku Cafe - Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki
Share
The second of four romcoms, and that is season 2 of Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki The season picks up where we left off after season 1 with Tomozaki continuing to develop himself and his new life with his new friends, but along the way, he is sure to face the biggest challenge of his life!
This season gave me EVERYTHING I would have wanted from Tomozaki and his story. Immense character growth on a personal level, and ways to forge new bonds with his classmates. Tomozaki realizes a good degree more autonomy in his decision making, and those decisions are sharp, crisp, and almost always on point for what’s needed in that moment or for the bigger objective placed before him. His love life also takes a DRAMATIC turn this season and he learned SO much dealing with the two girls and their differences, along with the truest keys to his heart when it came to the principle of love, and how his principle and difference to the worlds ideals project to his immediate love life. On top of that, his perceptions of his classmates personalities continue to grow and those sharp ideas he has really paint a bigger picture as it relates to the remainder of the characters in his class, opening new doors for what is to come surrounding his universe around him assuming a season 3 is made.
The animation was solid as always and the musical composition retains its acceptable base. But this story absolutely flourished in my eyes this season. I gave the show, available on Crunchyroll as is season 1, a strong 4/5 stars! This is one you should check out for sure!
