Otalku Cafe - High Card

This anime is another one of my surprises of the season, and that is season 2 of High Card. Season 1 was pretty good, but season 2 blows it out the water as we pick right off where we left off with Finn and company going up against the Klondike family in a battle for true control of the 52 playing cards. 

This season was absolutely awesome as every question we had going into the season was fully answered, the action was even better this go around, and every character got at least one noteworthy moment, especially all the main players like Finn, Chris, Ban, Chris, Wendy, Theodore, TILT, BURST, and many others. When fully revealed, the story was really awesome, full of decent twists and turns, and was solidly told, keeping the viewer super engaged during this season specifically. The animation is always amazing, and the musical composition is fine as always. 

I enjoyed every episode more and more as the weeks progressed and I think this show went out on such a high! There was a special, 25th episode of the show, that was announced that seeks to put a capstone on the series and I cannot wait till watch this. I gave this season, available on Crunchyroll as the first one is, a really solid 4/5 stars! This one is worth the watch!
